ProActiv+ 8 Week Trial

Since being quite a young age, I've suffered badly with spots/acne. It was a big problem for me during high school, causing me to be bullied and to have very low confidence and self esteem. I spent most of my time trying to hide my spots, to only be bullied even more for my badly applied make-up. As I've got older my skin has improved slightly, but it is still a big issue, especially during 'that time' of the month, they also flare up when I am stressed. Now my make-up skills haven't improved all that much since high school but I have learnt better how to cover my blemishes and to not be so worried about what other people think. At the end of they day, it's something that is out of my control and something that can't be helped.

So when I was contacted by a company asking me if I was interested in trialling and reviewing some skincare products for spot prone skin, I was eager. I sent a quick email and asked for some more details so I could do a little research. I was happy to learn the products they wanted me to test was the ProActiv+* products. Now anyone who watches TV would of seen at least one celebrity endorsed advert for ProActiv and would of heard of all the miracles it has performed, but it's hard to tell if these are true stories. So I spent a few days looking through reviews and blog posts on peoples experiences. There was mixed reviews, some claiming it worked amazing, others claiming it made their skin worse. I decided to take the plunge and try it for myself, after all everyone's skin is different and reacts different to almost everything.

I received my products in the post 2 days after agreeing to trial them which I thought was great! The products I received was the Skin Smoothing Exfoliator, Pore Targeting Treatment, Complexion Perfection Hydrator and the Skin Purifying Mask. I was sent enough products to be able to cover me for the whole 8 weeks that I am trialling it for. There are 3 steps to be used twice daily for a minimum of 8 weeks. With the Purifying Mask to be used 2 times a week. I started these today and I will update you half way through the process, and the end result. Detailing the result plus any side effects. Keep posted for those updates, and if you've had an experience with ProActiv+, leave me comments below!
